Sixth Grade Fall Performances Charm Audiences
The sixth grade drama classes held their fall performances on December 8 and 9.
The show began with a beautiful production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the outdoor amphitheater with the sixth grade percussion classes, led by Darrel Mayers, providing a wonderful accompaniment. An all-girl cast might have had the Bard of Avon spinning in his grave, but the girls did a great job working with the poetic language and playing characters from jesters to royalty to drunkards.
The evening continued with a presentation of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever in the chapel. Guest faculty and first and fifth graders completed this ensemble cast. It was a hilarious and poignant way to begin the Christmas season. Bravo to all!
