Nazro Nabs House Cup at MS Awards Banquet

Annie Sykes, MS Student Services
The SAS Middle School celebrated a successful year together at the Four Pillars Awards Banquet. The banquet, an annual tradition, is a time for MS students, faculty, and families to gather as a community before the year ends.

As the name suggests, the Four Pillars Awards Banquet honors students who have shown exemplary performance or progress as scholars, artists, athletes, and servants.

Congratulations to the winners of book awards in both academic and artistic areas. Congratulations also to Riley Alam and Samantha Rauch, recipients of the Kay Hart Community Service Award, and to Daniel Villareal, Kyla Thompson, and Natalie Sequin, the Middle School Athletes of the Year.

The Four Pillars Banquet also honors the Middle School House earning the most points over the 2015-16 school year. This year, Nazro House took the House Cup for the second year running. Henry House came in second, with Wilson House and Bailey House trailing close behind. Congratulations to all Houses on a wonderful year of community building and fun competition.
