Athletic Teams

The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades compete in the Austin Inter-Parochial League (AIPL). There are also several sports offered that compete independently from the AIPL. While participation is voluntary, approximately 90% of the student body participates in any given year. All students who wish to play are accepted on a team. At the beginning of each season, students try out and are placed on a team. A variety of different levels of competition exist to meet the different abilities of the athletes.

Lifetime Sports

Students who elect not to participate on an athletics team attend Physical Education (i.e., "Lifetime Sports") class three days a week.  This class is designed to expose its students to as many enjoyable activities as possible so its students will want to seek out an active lifestyle in their years ahead.  On-campus activities include volleyball, basketball, archery, table tennis, badminton, pickleball, floor hockey, soccer, mass games, and backyard games.  Off-campus activities include paddle boarding, kayaking, bowling, skating, ice hockey, rock climbing and more.

Our Athletics & P.E. program emphasizes commitment, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie.
