On February 16, US seniors Christina Canzoneri (chairperson) and Kyle Quick (promotions chair) organized a day-long blood drive at the Upper School. The nurses from the Blood Center of Central Texas received volunteer donors throughout the day.

Canzoneri noted, "Altogether we collected 62 pints of blood, which will potentially save up to 186 lives. In addition, the blood from Tuesday’s drive has been donated in Kethan Kumar’s name, a second grader at St. Andrew’s, who is currently receiving blood transfusions during his treatment for leukemia. Although the actual blood donated does not go directly to Kethan, he receives credits for each pint, which will ensure he always has priority when he needs a transfusion."
