Second Graders Read for LifeWorks and Haiti

The St. Andrew's second grades combined efforts last Friday afternoon to stage a read-a-thon to raise funds for LifeWorks and the people of Haiti. The students donned pajamas and slippers to read for 100 minutes. Relatives and friends were asked to sponsor their student with a donation per minute of reading. This celebration included a popcorn treat to celebrate their recent success on the CTP4 achievement test. The read-a-thon raised more than $3,700.
