About us > The Campus Text
St. Andrew's has two beautiful campuses in Austin. The 11 acre "31st Street campus" in central Austin has been home to both our Lower and Middle Schools since 1957. Set against the scenic views of Shoal Creek and under the shade of centuries-old oak trees (including one 500 year-old tree named "Crusader Oak") this location is a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of central Austin. To preserve this natural beauty, even newer structures like our Middle School, Dell Hall, constructed in 2006 and Nazro Hall (currently under construction) were carefully planned to enhance and blend with the natural surroundings that make this location so unique.

Our 77 acre Upper School campus in Southwest Austin is equally as beautiful and peaceful. Structures here were designed to enhance the rugged landscape upon which they were built when construction began in 1998. The wide open spaces here allowed this campus to be set up like a mini-college campus, with each academic division housed within its own building and with many quadrangles and niches where students can gather to study or just hang out.
