St. Andrew's after school program is named Beyond the Classroom, or BTC for short, because it truly is just that! A variety of challenging and unique enrichment programs are offered that give children the opportunity to have fun while learning. And, study hall is included, so your child will have supervised time just for homework.

The program is designed to allow students to participate in as few or as many days a week as desired. Each course is taught by an experienced professional with all activities taking place on the school campus. The elements of the daily schedule are snack and break time, study hall and the enrichment course for the day. Past classes have included karate, chess, cooking, gymnastics, acting, and more.

Parents can register online or fill out hard copy forms which are sent home every 12 weeks during the three designated registration periods. The program runs from the time school dismisses until 5:30p daily.

Staff
BTC supporting staff members include university students, parents, and members of the St. Andrew’s faculty. Each enrichment activity or class is taught by an experienced professional from the school or community.

While the program is separate from the academic day, the staff of Beyond the Classroom is prepared to interface with an individual student’s teachers in meeting any special needs that the child may have. The BTC Director or staff members can be reached by calling 299-9856.
