St. Andrew's is proud to have a very generous Financial Aid program which supports over 100 families at the school. More than $1,250,000 in financial aid is distributed every year to deserving students in grades 1-12. In order to support this important endeavor, every spring St. Andrew's hosts two events: Family Fair and Spring Fest for Financial Aid, which are fun community events chaired and run by a large committee of parent volunteers.
Family Fair for Financial Aid is held on the 31st street campus and is a fun-filled day with great kids activities (dunking booths, rock walls, face painting, giant slides, and more!), good food, and a fabulous silent auction. Over 1,000 people attend this annual event!
In 2008, a second event was incorporated into the Family Fair for Financial Aid event. This additional celebration, called Spring Fest for Financial Aid, is for adults only and is held on the Nazro Green at the Upper School Campus one week before Family Fair. Attendees to this lively event, can expect great live music, dancing, cocktails, and fantastic live and auctions.
Our commitment to maintaining a socioeconomically diverse school community is reflected in the wonderful support we receive from our families and friends at Family Fair — usually about $200,000. We hope the addition of Spring Fest will bring us even closer to closing the gap between what we raise and the financial aid needs of our community.
