In every student there is a Scholar, an Artist, an Athlete, and a Servant, looking for a place to grow. Our community embraces the opportunity to cultivate these traits into a deep passion for learning.
Dear Prospective Families:
Thank you for your interest in St. Andrew's for your child and family. St. Andrew’s has proactively transitioned to Home Learning while continuing to provide a meaningful, supportive and quality education for our students. Our Admissions team is working remotely and we continue to accept applications and welcome new families during the spring and summer.  Prior to submitting an application, we encourage you to call or email a member of the admissions team regarding space availability in a particular grade and to discuss the next steps in the admissions process. In some cases, admissions requirements will be waived and/or alternative information may be requested.
For now, all in-person tours and shadow visits are cancelled until further notice.  If you have questions about admissions and would like to learn more about St. Andrew’s, we would be happy to set up a time for a virtual meeting.  Please email Kapie Breed, to set up a Zoom Information meeting with an admissions team member.
We wish your family well and hope you are staying safe and healthy.  Please do not hesitate to contact me or the admissions team with any questions.

St. Andrew's Episcopal School

Welcome to St. Andrew's!

In its first year, St. Andrew's enrolled 53 children composed of two first grade classes and a combined second and third grade class in a two-story house on Pearl Street in central Austin. Over the next 30 years the school grew into a thriving Lower School community and moved to a larger property on 31st Street. In 1982, the school expanded to include a Middle School program and in 1998 our first freshman class enrolled and moved into the newly built high school on our 73-acre campus on Southwest Parkway. In 2016, St. Andrew's built a brand new building and opened an innovative play-based, experiential learning kindergarten program. In 65 years, St. Andrew's has grown from 53 students to 950 students and is the only K-12 Episcopal school in the central Austin region.

Paramount to our mission and throughout our community and culture is a strong sense of Episcopal identity, perhaps one of the most important assets at St. Andrew’s. We exist not only to educate, but to demonstrate and proclaim the unique worth and beauty of all human beings as creations of a loving, empowering God. In that regard, St. Andrew’s strives to inspire, enlighten, and ultimately graduate young men and women who are critical thinkers, passionate learners, and joyful servant leaders in their communities.

Across the Lower, Middle, and Upper School divisions our focus revolves around four main pillars: Scholar, Artist, Athlete, and Servant.  All students have the opportunity to explore success in academics, the arts, on the field or courts, and as community servants. St. Andrew’s believes in the qualities of all four areas and has developed a curriculum to support a richly diverse, challenging, and invigorating learning environment for all our students.

We are so glad for your interest in our school and encourage you to explore our website and the many wonderful opportunities available for your child.  The Admissions Staff at St. Andrew's looks forward to introducing you to our community.
