  • Drive to the DFAC Driveway to receive your diploma.

  • Graduate may exit their car (wearing a mask) to receive their diploma from Dr. Stephenson (wearing a mask and gloves). Professional photos will be taken of the Graduate.

  • Graduate will walk designated route through campus (wearing mask at all times) receive a blessing in the Chapel from Mother Whitney, and meet their family on the other side of Nazro Green. While the Graduate is walking through campus, the family will drive to the gym driveway and wait to pick up their student.
  • Graduate returns to family car, and wave to the faculty on their way off campus.

Safety Protocols

  • To limit the number of cars on campus, we are asking each graduate to limit their party to themselves and 5 members of their household. Graduates may hang out the window, sun roof, sit in the back of a truck bed, etc. to parade around campus. Decorate your car with balloons, streamers, signs, etc. Get festive! If you are a two household family, the Graduate can drive through twice to be with each parent, or you can try to coordinate arriving one car after the other.
  • Each car will be required to turn in this Screening Questionnaire prior to driving through the Graduation Line. Print it out and fill it out ahead of time to help keep the line moving! Forms will also be available at the second guard tower- please bring your own pen!
  • Please do NOT come to campus if any of the following apply:
  • Fever over 100 degrees in the last 24 hours
  • Cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Known contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  •  All Students/Faculty/Family Members are required to wear a mask at all times while on campus. Masks may only be removed momentarily for professional photos.
  • Please follow the arrows on the map below, as well as the Graduation step-by-step directions!

Dear Seniors:
I am just coming off of watching the wonderful chapels that celebrated our senior artists and athletes, and I am profoundly moved by your spirit and your accomplishments.  Earlier this week I listened to your teachers, as they thought about senior recognition awards, describe the many ways you have touched us and those around you .  As I wind down my 20th year at St. Andrew's (and my 35th year in education) I will let you in on a little secret:  you inspire us and you energize us.  When I was a class-room teacher, I remember routinely being amazed that I left my classes feeling stronger than when I went in.
If anything your spirit is even more important this year than in previous years.  You have been handed a tough set of circumstances, and you have responded beautifully.  The world is changing quickly, and I have every confidence that you will make it a better place in ways that we cannot even imagine.
Congratulations; get to it; and come back often to visit.  We will miss you.
Principal Todd
(BTW I am not giving up this name!)
Diploma Requirements

List of 1 items.

  • Diploma Requirements

To receive the official diploma at Graduation, the graduate must have met the Graduation requirements, all accounts with the school must be cleared and any school-owned materials must be returned. Reasons for a delay in receiving the official diploma at the Graduation ceremony may include:

Academic:  Didn’t fulfill graduation requirements: All departmental and athletic requirements, Senior Project. Questions? Talk to your advisor.

Financial:  Outstanding accounts with Business Office: You’ll be notified in May of any unpaid or outstanding bills. Questions? Business Office, Susan Gordon,

Materials:  Unreturned school materials, including library materials, athletic equipment/uniforms, school-owned laptops and school-owned music (there might be other categories, but these are the usual ones).  You’ll be notified in May of any outstanding items, and given the name of the St. Andrew’s person you should talk to if you have any questions.

What happens if Graduation requirements are not met before the service? The senior is notified that he or she will receive a letter in the diploma case instead of a diploma. Any honors or awards the senior has earned will be presented at Graduation. From the audience, the graduate will appear to have the same experience as all other graduates. Until all issues are satisfied, the final transcript is not sent to the graduate’s college of choice. Once everything is completed, the diploma is given to the senior and the final transcript is sent.
