Jordan Haro '09

After a successful Kickstarter campaign to raise $35k, Jordan is financing the final touches necessary to debut his feature length documentary "Rush Brothers," this winter. Jordan says, "My head is still spinning from the combination of the whirlwind of this campaign and the sleepless post-production process that goes into crafting a quality documentary."

Jordan explains, “Last summer, I won a pitch contest with DirecTV, facilitated by Tongal, that put me head-to-head against another filmmaker to compete for a small financial grant and the chance for the film to be presented to the world by DirecTV and their new rollout of original content. I won! This means my documentary will be released as an original DirecTV feature length documentary upon completion this December. Since receiving this DirecTV grant, I have been able to shoot almost the entire film at the highest quality possible, all at 4K resolution. The interview roster includes KU head coach Bill Self, ESPN Analyst Jay Bilas, Grantland writer Jonathan Abrams, Denver Nuggets president Josh Kroenke, Wake Forest head coach Danny Manning, and many more!”

Jordan’s film chronicles the untold story of professional basketball players Jaron, Kareem, and Brandon Rush. Read more about Jordan’s film on his Kickstarter page here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jordanharo/rush-brothers/description
