BOYS LACROSSE TO WELCOME UNITED STATES ARMY COMMAND SERGEANT MAJOR

On February 6, the Varsity Boys Lacrosse team will welcome United States Army Command Sergeant Major Thomas Keaton (USA, retired) to address to the program.
CSM Keaton, a former Division III lacrosse player at Hope College, will address the players on his experiences in leadership, and teamwork, and how it transcends to the sports world.

CSM Keaton has led every level of military unit from team level to an entire Task Force in Iraq, consisting of approximately 2,000 personnel. He graduated from the toughest training the military has to offer including US Army Airborne, Air Assault, Ranger, Special Operations Target Interdiction Course, Recondo, and Survival Escape Resistance and Evasion.

Additionally, CSM Keaton was selected as a trainer at several of these schools as well as the University of Texas, West Point, and the US Army Sergeants Major Academy.
 
In his civilian life he is the Director of Funding for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board while also serving as head coach of the Westlake High School D2 Chaparrals lacrosse program.
