Vocalists Receive Highest Rating at State

Our Upper School Choir students all received the highest possible rating for their vocal performances at the TPSMEA State Solo & Ensemble Contest in Houston this month! Students performing solos sang by memory, with piano by Ms. Lori Hahn. Ensembles sang a capella (without piano):

In related faculty news, Ms. Lori Hahn has recently been appointed Vice-President for Membership of Sigma Alpha Iota Austin Alumnae Chapter.  SAI is an International Music Fraternity with active chapters in colleges, universities, and alumnae chapters around the U.S. Ms. Hahn will also be presenting a session at the Texas Music Teachers Association Conference this summer in Houston.  As co-chair for the Digital Keyboard Orchestra, she will lead music-reading sessions for students in grades 1-12 in a venue full of digital pianos!
