Grandparents' and Special Friends Day

On February 6 and 7, St. Andrew’s Episcopal School welcomed over 400 grandparents and special friends to our two campuses. Grandparents and friends were able to meet teachers, attend chapel and special performances, and experience classes, getting a peek into the day-to-day lives of their students.
Jesus Barona, grandparent of Mauricio Toscano ‘31, said at the event, “We’re having a great time at Mauricio’s school watching him grow and learn, seeing him get so much better at reading. We’re really having a great time.”

At St. Andrew’s, Grandparents’ Day is a reminder of the great gift of loved ones, and we are so thankful for the family and friends who visited campus on this special day. Grandparents’ Day is celebrated over two days, between the two campuses. Planning and organization was led by parents Meg O’Connell (Lower and Middle School) and Julie Orchid (Upper School), along with their team of over 30 volunteers. We want to thank them all so much for their hard work and for making the day so special. Click here to view photos.
