A Whole Child Education is one of the guiding principles at St. Andrew's. Students benefit from programs like Mindfulness, Social Emotional Learning, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, and so many more!
Beginning the second week of January, we will be offering an eight-week mindfulness course through Zoom to interested alumni. Over the past few years, this course has been taken by hundreds of St. Andrew's parents and faculty members. Given these unusually stressful times, we'd like to offer it to alumni as well.
The aim of this course is to equip participants with the knowledge and guidance needed to incorporate mindfulness meditation into their daily life. Previous participants have reported a greater sense of clarity, calm, and presence, as well as an easier time navigating relationship stress. Each session includes instruction, a guided meditation, and time for discussion. The course is taught by our Mindfulness Director, Adam Ortman.
