SAS Highlanders, HornFM Team Up For Live Broadcast

On the evening of Wednesday, March 24, the Varsity Boys Lacrosse team will host Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL) conference rival Gateway Preparatory at 7 p.m.

While non-stop action will be occurring on the field, it won’t be the only entertainment taking place that evening. The HornFM and its popular FLX ATX Radio Program, a weekly high school sports call in show, will broadcast live from the press box platform inside Beck Stadium.

This will mark continued interaction between the two entities, having already joined forces three times this school year with senior NCAA-bound student-athletes Cade Kilbride and Lauren Lietzke, as well as current junior basketball star Scout Swanson, all being invited callers of host and local radio personality Snupe Daniel.

As part of the partnership, St. Andrew’s, and the event, will be heavily promoted with live on-air reads, pre-recorded commercials, and social media posts.

Tune in between 7-10 PM on Friday (3/24) via the radio dial (104.9), or online at HornFM.com.

For those unable to join the action in person, the game will also be shown live with a videocast on the Vype Sports Broadcast Network, and can be viewed here.
