Mark Greenberg '23 leads Toy Drive for Dell Children's Hospital Patients

Leading up to the holidays, sophomore Mark Greenberg started thinking about children who would be spending the holidays in the hospital and wanted to find a way he could make things, even a little bit, better for them.
He decided to organize a toy drive with the hope of providing a gift for kids at Dell Children's Hospital to open on Christmas. He asked for donations from his classmates, teachers and anyone in the community that was able. Just before Christmas Mark and his parents (pictured) were to make their delivery to Dell Children's Hospital, bringing some joy to so many!
St. Andrew's received the following letter from Dell Children's Hospital:

Dear all at St. Andrew's Upper School,
We are GRATEFUL. Our hospital and our foundation wanted to extend our heartfilled thanks to all who so generoulsy gave to the Dell Children's Hospital Holiday Toydrive. This collection was instigated and led by a very impressive young man at your school - Mark Greenberg- and his efforts brought so much joy and the spirit of giving to patients and families at Dell Children's who found themselves spending the holidays in hospital. Our children's best mental, physical and spiritual health - it takes all of us - you, me and the St. Andrew's Community and we are so grateful.
 - Suellen Brown and all at Dell Children's

Well done, Mark! Your generosity and thoughtfulness is amazing and you make St. Andrew's very proud!
