Eliana Gill '12
After being recognized by Governor Abbott in his State of the State address this week, Eliana Gill ‘12 was interviewed by KXAN about her role in the COVID-19 unit.
Eliana, a nurse for Ascension Seton Medical Group in Austin, volunteered to work with the sickest of patients, serving as a medical surgical nurse in the acute care unit, as well as the respiratory unit on the COVID floor.
She goes on to talk about her experience with the most difficult days, and why she answered the call to work on the frontline.
