Q&A with Coach Bowie
Katherine Bowie
The Readfield, Maine native will join the Highlanders' community following an NCAA head coaching stint at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Bowie also spent time with the successful and storied Bates College program of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), where she rose in the ranks from an Assistant Coach to the position of Interim Head Coach.

Saint Andrew's is dedicated to academic and athletic excellence and is committed to the student athletes from all aspects of school life.
What inspired you to coach?
Many people that have influenced my life have come from field hockey. I love using the sport that means so much to me to help young people today!
What is your favorite memory from your high school sports experience?
The memories created off the field with my high school and college teammates are what I value most out of my playing career- there are too many to count!
What are you most looking forward to this year?
I am looking forward to getting to know my athletes off the field and continuing to grow the game of hockey in Austin!
What are you looking forward to doing in Austin?
I really want to visit a Dude Ranch!
