Blessing of the Pets 2022
On October 4, K-2 students and their families brought their favorite furry friends for the annual Blessing of the Pets service.
Each pet received a blessing from LS/MS Chaplain Ashley Brandon, US Chaplain Whitney Kirby, or The Reverend Miles R. Brandon of St. Julian’s, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals; on the day of his feast. They also received a certificate commemorating the blessing. This is always a treasured day in the lower school, and a special opportunity for students to introduce their furry friends to their classmates and teachers!
