Assistant Varsity Baseball coaches Darrell May (pictured) and Mamon Tucker both played professional baseball.

Darrell May

May is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who last played for the New York Yankees. May batted and threw left-handed.

His professional baseball career began when the Atlanta Braves drafted him in the 46th round of the 1992 Major League Draft.

He finished out his professional career as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates, California Angels, and Hanshin Tigers (Japanese Central League)

Mamon Tucker

Tucker was a top 50 college recruit and signed a letter of intent to attend Oklahoma State University. In 1998, Coach Tucker was selected with the 39th overall pick of the MLB Amateur Draft by the Baltimore Orioles.

He chose to pursue his dreams of becoming a major league baseball player and went on to play 8 seasons of professional baseball. He played in the Orioles, Phillies, Cardinals, Cubs, and Astros organizations.
