Vienna Boys Choir to Perform Nov. 2
St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is pleased to welcome the Vienna Boys Choir to its Dell Fine Arts Center for a special vocal performance on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Tickets for the event will go on sale Monday, July 17, 2017 and will be available for purchase via the Long Center website or by calling the Long Center box office (512-474-5664). An early bird discounted rate of 10 percent off Orchestra seats will run through September 1, 2017.
St. Andrew’s fine arts department chair, Dr. David Guidi, remarks, "St. Andrew's is thrilled to host the world-renowned Vienna Boys Choir, and is almost equally excited to welcome the greater Austin community to our beautiful Dell Fine Arts Center for this performance. The Dell Theater was intentionally designed as an intimate venue to personalize the experience of the audience, supported by fantastic acoustics that are ideal for the choir.”
Reflecting on this momentous occasion, Guidi adds, “St. Andrew's students have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of fine arts offerings. They are consistently recognized in competitions, travel extensively to feature their work, and our choir students routinely perform at Carnegie Hall. But this will be a first for us, bringing an international vocal group with such a rich legacy to our campus to inspire audiences and artists of all ages."
