President’s Volunteer Service Award
Recognizes and celebrates community service leaders and volunteers. These are awarded each year to students who volunteer a certain number of hours over the period of 12 months. Students may earn a bronze, silver or gold medal depending on the number of hours they complete.

National Merit Scholarship Program
Last year, 1.6 million students in the United States took the PSAT National Merit qualification test. A small percentage of high scorers are notified through their schools that they have qualified as either Commended Students or Semifinalists.

After completing an application process where academic credentials, personal statements, test scores, and letters of recommendation were reviewed, finalists were determined. National Merit Semi-Finalist, Selinda Qiu, is now recognized as a National Merit Finalist.
