Upper School

Athletic Council

The Upper School Athletic Council is comprised of students from all four grades. Student-athletes can be nominated by coaches or nominate themselves, but ultimately the group is selected by the Varsity Head Coaches. We take great thought in forming our Council in order to make sure that each sport is represented. We also strive for a good balance of boys and girls, as well as grade levels.

Athletic Council Mission Statement

"The mission of the St. Andrew’s Athletic Council is to support the unique student athlete that is committed to the classroom, community, and athletic program. We do this by cultivating a respectful and positive environment which encourages the development of a competitive athlete."
Recent initiatives include discussing ways to cultivate our growing strength and conditioning program, brainstorming ideas to increase school spirit, and sharing thoughts on how best to vertically align our athletic program from 5th through 12th grade.
