SAS Homecoming

Join us for Homecoming on Friday, November 1 at the Upper School! All K-12 families, faculty, alumni and friends join together for pre-game fun before our football team takes the field. We'll have plenty of open space for free play. It's a fun family event, be sure to join us!

When: Friday, November 1, 2019
Time: Scroll down for complete schedule (food trucks open 5:00 pm)
Where: Upper School (5901 Southwest Parkway)
Who: All K-12 parents and students, faculty/staff, alumni, and friends
Attire: Wear your SAS blue or order your 2019 Homecoming t-shirt here!
Bring: A blanket or chair for food truck picnic, a refillable water bottle, and running shoes if you're a Lower School parent running the Fun Run with your kids

Homecoming Parking

*Limited parking on campus, carpooling or ridesharing is strongly recommended

Off-Campus Parking & Shuttle Service

5:30-10:30 pm - Shuttle starts at Mission Oaks Blvd,  buses running back and forth all night.
6:00-10:30 pm - Shuttle starts from the ARM/ Endeavor Business Building, buses running back and forth all night.
Shuttles will drop off and pick up at the west end of our soccer field, where there is a Y in the entrance road. There will be signs on the bus doors stating which location the bus is shuttling from.

3:00 pm - Varsity Girls Volleyball vs St. Stephen's Episcopal School (Gym)
4:30 pm - Varsity Field Hockey vs St. Stephen's Episcopal School

5:00 pm - Varsity Boys Volleyball vs. St. Stephen's Episcopal School

5:00 pm - Food trucks open, Homecoming festivities begin:
  • Bring a blanket and your own picnic meal or select from onsite food trucks 
  • Look for your “Class of” sign on the Nazro Green so classes can enjoy the picnic together
  • Get your face painted
  • Strike a pose at the SAS balloon backdrop
  • Shop for SAS gear at the Spirit Shop table
  • SAS Alumni & Faculty - Find the Alumni Tent on Nazro Green for light fare and drinks
6:30 pm - Fun Run on track for grades K-5 and their parents

7:00 pm - Spirit Tunnel on field. Kindergarten with seniors line-up to cheer for football team

7:30 pm - Kick-Off - Austin Saints vs. John Cooper School
