Caroline Biggar '16 Will Play Volleyball for Brown

On December 14, St. Andrew’s senior Caroline Biggar signed her Likely Letter to play volleyball for Brown University in a special chapel service. As an Ivy League school, Brown does not offer athletic scholarships, and thus does not provide Letters of Intent. However, Brown does have their student athletes sign Likely Letters.

Director of Athletics, Jeff McCrary, remarked on Caroline’s accomplishment before the signing, saying: “Today is a special day for St. Andrew’s, as we recognize Caroline Biggar for all of her hard work and congratulate her on accomplishing her goal to play volleyball at a Division I university. It is a major feat to be recruited to play Division I athletics, and we are proud that Caroline has received that opportunity. For the second straight year, one of our student-athletes will be signing with an Ivy League school. As a member of the SPC, a conference that views itself as the Ivy League of the Southwest, it is great to see our student-athletes continue their career at a like-minded school. Caroline, we are so proud of you, and congratulations again for this accomplishment!”
