Bio
Jeff enters his 15th year of coaching at St. Andrew's, and his 12th year as the Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach. In 2012, St. Andrew’s took 4th place in the SPC Division I Tournament, which was the best finish in school history. The following year, he led the Crusaders to a Division II Championship.

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. While at UT, he served as a manager for the men’s basketball team for three years. In his final season, the Longhorns made it to the Final Four for the first time in over 50 years.

He is married to the former Melissa Barrett, and they have two sons together (Houston and Barrett).

Bio
Brian Boddicker joins the program as a program assistant working with all three levels.

The former University of Texas Longhorn ranks second in Texas history for career three-point percentage list (.404) and seventh in career three-pointers made (156). Holds the top two single-season three-point percentage marks (.448 as a senior; .439 as a junior) in UT history. Shares school record (with teammate James Thomas) for career games played and consecutive games played (134).

He also spent time on the NBA Summer League circuit with the Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets organizations. He also spent time playing professional overseas in Turkey, Germany, Spain, and France.

Bio

Brandon Thomas an Austin Texas native. Former Texas State graduate where he played basketball for coach Doug Davalos. Upon graduation Brandon played professionally abroad in Switzerland, Japan, Finland, and India. Now Brandon runs Beast Hoops a basketball skill and development company, as well as co owns a strength and conditioning fitness studio with his wife Jessica. Brandon and Jessica have a 3 yr old son Grayson. When Brandon is not in the gym training he enjoys spending time with his family and eating lots of frozen yogurt and pizza!

Bio

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Damion graduated from West Charlotte High School in 2000 where he enjoyed a stellar basketball career highlighted by winning the North Carolina state title in 1999. This was an accomplishment Damion happily shared with his father, and then West Charlotte head coach, Gosnell White - one of NC’s all-time greatest high school basketball coaches.

A player and student of the game, Damion was an integral part of West Charlotte’s basketball program in one of its greatest eras and took in life at home with the architect who led West Charlotte to 5 straight regional appearances, 10 straight conference titles and a #8 ranking in the USA Today top 25 poll by the end of their 30-2 state championship run in ‘99 - Damion’s junior season.

Upon graduating from West Charlotte, Damion went on to a year of post graduate prep school at Phillip’s Academy in Andover, MA where he was a New England standout in varsity basketball, finishing second in scoring on the season among leading scorers from all schools in the Eagle-Tribune coverage area, spanning northeastern Massachusetts and most of New Hampshire. That year, Damion also excelled in football and as the top sprinter for the New England Prep School 2001 outdoor track champions.

Foregoing heavy recruitment from Brown, Dartmouth and Tufts, an offer to join the then defending NCAA champion Duke Blue Devils basketball team as a recruited walk-on and football/basketball scholarship offers from Wofford and from Charlotte, Damion accepted an academic scholarship to attend Davidson College, where he walked onto the basketball team. His team went on to win the Southern Conference and compete in the 2002 NCAA tournament. He was also the starting quarterback and a 3-year letter winner in football during his time at Davidson. Damion graduated from Davidson in 2006 with a degree in sociology.

Damion has always had a strong pull to help young people through the game of basketball. While not directly following in his father’s footsteps, Damion spent many summers helping his father coach and train high school and returning college players. Damion has also worked many prestigious basketball camps including Five Star, Coach K’s Duke Basketball Camps and Bob McKillop’s Basketball Camps at Davidson College.

Although Damion recently became a head coach for the first time in 2016, leading Regents’ 3A, 7th & 8th grade girls’ basketball team to two post season victories, he spent the off-season and summer months coaching the high school men and will be extremely prepared to make a smooth transition into high school men’s basketball as a head JV2 coach.

Bio
Scott Zimmerman is a name that is well-known to many, as he is the Director of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) as well as the father of Gehrig (Class of 2021), Annie ('23), and Adelynn ('27) .

Prior to coming to St. Andrew's, Coach Zimmerman was the Head Coach at Kinkaid in Houston for over 10 years, and prior to that, was the Head Coach at St. Michael's here in Austin, where he won a State Championship. He played collegiate at what was then Southwest Texas State University.
