Sports Medicine

At St. Andrew's, our athletic program builds on a foundation of safe, healthy competition and long-term athlete development. Our team supports each student-athlete through proactive injury prevention, expert care, and training programs that promote growth and resilience.
St. Andrew's team of certified athletic trainers (ATCs) specialize in musculoskeletal injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation. They work with all St. Andrew's athletes, providing on and off-field emergency care, developing rehabilitation plans, and implementing strategies to prevent future injury. Treatment modalities offered at St. Andrew's Episcopal School include, but are not limited to, electric stimulation, compression therapy, cryotherapy, cupping therapy, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. ATCs coordinate appointments with our team physician and provide recommendations for local orthopedic specialists and sports medicine physicians when needed.

Our state-of-the-art facility at the Upper School features three treatment tables, three taping tables, a rehabilitation area, and a large indoor ice bath that accommodates up to 12 athletes at a time.
