Boys Volleyball

One of the newer varsity sports offered, boys' volleyball has achieved great success and popularity at St. Andrew's.
In the first season, there was enough interest to form both a JV and Varsity team. By the second year, there were enough boys to field three teams: Varsity, JV, and JV2.

The program plays matches locally, as well as in Houston, Dallas, and Ft. Worth. The Varsity competes in the South Zone of the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC).

In addition to the success of the teams, two players have gone on to play volleyball at the NCAA level. The first was Nathan Lietzke (’19), who was an instrumental figure in advocating to start boys volleyball at St. Andrew’s. Nathan signed with Stanford University (DI). The following year, Chelan Beavers (’20) inked with Millikin University, a DIII program in Decatur, Illinois.
