Michelle King is the director of the Austin 10’s a private tennis academy. Prior to founding the academy, she had a storied career at Abilene Christian University, winning the NCAA’s Division II Singles Championship and Rolex Doubles Championship. For her efforts she was named outstanding female athlete of the year at ACU, and a finalist for the NCAA Women of the Year award.
Following her time on the collegiate scene, King has continued to play competitively and travel the world for tennis. She won the USTA Gold Slam in doubles, which is awarded to individuals that win all four of the major USTA Championships during the calendar year and was honored for this achievement at the US Open. She has been named to five USTA World Cup teams, representing the United States in the World Team Championships, winning tournaments on all four surfaces; hard, clay, indoor and grass.
