Parent Checklist

  • 1. LOGIN TO MYSAS

    • Click the mySAS button in upper-right corner of St. Andrew's website 
    • Parents will use the same Blackbaud ID to log into mySAS as they have in the past. If parents have a Gmail account on file, that can be used to log into mySAS as well.

  • 1A. UPDATE YOUR PERSONAL CONTACT INFO

    • Once logged into mySAS, click your name, click Profile, then edit fields using the pencil icon.

  • 1B. UPDATE YOUR STUDENT(S) CONTACT INFO

    • Once logged into mySAS, click on Children tab, select your student's name, click Contact Card tab and edit fields using yellow pencil icon. Update emergency contact information for each child. Please list multiple contacts the school can reach out to in an emergency.

  • 1C. SUBMIT YOUR STUDENT(S) MEDICAL INFO VIA MAGNUS HEALTH

    • Once logged into mySAS, click on the Resources tab, click the Magnus icon and follow steps.
    • If you need help with Magnus, email SAS Head School Nurse, Anne Kim, at akim@sasaustin.org.
  • 1D. QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR BLACKBAUD TUITION MANAGEMENT BILL

    If you have any questions regarding your Blackbaud Tuition Management bill, please contact Susan Gordon (sgordon@sasaustin.org, 512-299-9807) in the Business Office. She will be your point of contact throughout the summer and next school year.
  • 2. REVIEW VISION, HEARING & SCOLIOSIS TEST INFO

    All students will be screened at the school during the first trimester of the new school year. Vision and hearing testing is required for the following students:
    • Kindergarten: vision and hearing
    • 1st grade: vision and hearing
    • 3rd grade: vision and hearing
    • 5th grade: vision and hearing
    • 7th grade: vision and hearing
    • Any new 2nd-12th grader: vision and hearing
    Scoliosis testing will be done per Texas State requirements. Parents will be notified prior to screening.

    Please complete this form so that your loved ones can be informed of updates from St. Andrew's, including invitations to events, our school magazine, and more. We will use this contact information to invite Grandparents and Grand-friends to our annual Grandparents' Day.

Magnus FAQ

  • How do I log into Magnus?

    Log into mySAS, click on the Resources link, then click the Magnus tile.
  • Do I have to fill the forms out every year?

    Yes, forms need to be signed before each new school year. Please complete your forms by July 1st to give Nurse Kim time to approve all forms. All students must have their forms completed before the first day of classes, and athletes practicing before the start of school must have all of their forms completed before their first practice.
  • Why am I getting an email about a form due soon when I already filled out all the forms last spring or summer?

    The one form that may expire during the school year is the Annual Physical Form. This form is good for one year. So, if your student’s well child exam was in November, you will get a notice a few months before November to remind you to make an appointment for their next appointment and that their form is due on the date listed. We allow a 30 day grace period as most insurance plans require 365 days between well visit appointments.
  • How do I update my child’s insurance carrier or allergies?

    These pieces of information are stored in the Vital Health Record section of Magnus. If, during the school year you need to update these things, you may log into Magnus as described above, edit the Vital Health Record, and resubmit it.
  • How often does Nurse Kim approve forms in Magnus?

    Nurse Kim approves Magnus forms every weekday from the day forms open until the start of school and checks for forms each school day throughout the school year. If your student is starting a sport THAT day and you are turning forms in, drop Nurse Kim an email at akim@sasaustin.org to let her know so she can approve your forms. Better yet, don’t wait until the last minute. The trainers and Nurse Kim work tirelessly to get all of your forms in and approved, and forms turned in at the last minute might not get approved in time for your student to start practice.
  • How do I change my phone number or address in Magnus?

    Magnus is linked to and flows directly from mySAS. All contact information updates must be made in mySAS. Having trouble logging into mySAS? Contact help@sasaustin.org so our IT team can help you.

Lower School Front Office

If you need any assistance or have questions, feel free to call 512-299-9800 or email lsadmin@sasaustin.org. Please keep in mind that response time may be slightly delayed during the summer months. Email is the best way to communicate over the summer if the question/concern is not urgent.

During June and July, the Lower School front office will be open Monday thru Thursday from 9am - 2pm, with the exception of the following dates:

Memorial Day: Monday, May 25, 2026
Juneteenth: Friday, June 19, 2026
Fourth of July: Friday, July 3 and Monday, July 6, 2026
31st Street Campus Closed: Week of July 20-25, 2026
