A Season of Gratitude
As we approach Thanksgiving, I find myself filled with gratitude for the extraordinary blessings that define our St. Andrew’s community.
Every day, I am reminded how fortunate we are to learn, grow, and celebrate together in a place where kindness, curiosity, and courage guide us.
This fall has been especially meaningful. Our new Highlander Hall has quickly become the heart of student life - a place where friendships deepen, athletes train, and our sense of school spirit shines brighter than ever. We shared joyful moments at Homecoming and St. Andrew’s Day, both of which reminded me how special it is to belong to a community that truly values connection and celebration.
I am deeply thankful for our students, who inspire us with their curiosity and compassion; for our teachers and staff, whose dedication brings learning to life each day; and for our families, whose support makes all that we do possible. The love and commitment you show our school community make St. Andrew’s feel like an extended family.
This year has also reminded me how powerfully our mission extends beyond our campus. During my travels to Chiang Mai, Thailand and Osaka, Japan last week, I witnessed firsthand how experiential learning and global exchange can transform perspectives - helping our students understand not only the world, but also their place within it. These experiences affirm our shared commitment to developing compassionate global citizens who lead with empathy and purpose.
As we gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, I hope each of you finds time to rest, reflect, and celebrate the blessings in your own lives. Please know how grateful I am for each of you, and for the vibrant community we create together at St. Andrew’s.
