Visit St. Andrew's

We would love to show you St. Andrew's in person! 

We offer a variety of events for parents and students to visit St. Andrew's.  Whether you join us for a small group tour, Information Session, parent-to-parent event, or Open House, we'll introduce you to our educational program, take a tour of the campus, peek into classrooms, answer your questions, and guide you through the admissions process.

  • Shadow Visits

    Students applying to grades 3 to 5 are required to do a Shadow Visit. This visit is a chance for your child to participate and experience a typical day at St. Andrew's.  As a first step, please complete the online application.  Visits take place from November through mid-February.

    Meet Middle School Head, Alice Nezzer, faculty, staff, students and take a tour of the campus. 


    Prospective Parents visit Middle School Classes

    Tuesday, December 5 at 8-10:30 am

    Prospective Middle School parents are welcome to campus between 8:00 and 10:30am to visit classes and Chapel. We'll give you a schedule of every Middle school class that is meeting during the first two periods that morning and you're welcome to pop in and out of as many as you'd like. You're also invited to join us for Chapel, if you'd like. First period starts at 8:00am and Chapel starts at 10:05am. Feel free to stay for as long as you are able.

    You are invited to join us and experience a normal Middle School Chapel. 

  • Shadow Visits

    Students applying to grades 6, 7, and 8 are required to do a Shadow Visit. This visit is a chance for your child to participate and experience a typical day at St. Andrew's. Visits take place from 7:45 am to 12:00 pm beginning mid-October through February 1. As a first step, please complete the online application. Applicants will shadow a student in the grade to which they are applying.

    Begin your visit with a tour of the campus and meet department heads. The tour is followed by a student-led panel, mini-presentations, and a faculty-led question and answer session.


    Experience St. Andrew's 
    Thursday, November 30, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
    Wednesday, January 17, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

    Wondering what happens in an Upper School physics class? In studio art? In a chapel service? If you answered yes, then join us for our "Experience St. Andrew's" day. Parents can pick and choose classes to visit, eat lunch with faculty members, and attend chapel. You are welcome to come for one class or stay for the day.

    Prospective parents are invited to join us for an informal conversation with Dr. Todd Stephenson, Head of the Upper School. 

  • Shadow Visits

    Prospective students are encouraged to spend part of a morning or afternoon visiting classes with a current Upper School student to get a good feel for the teachers, students, and campus life. Shadowing is offered Monday through Friday beginning in October.  To schedule your student's Shadow Visit, please follow the link from the on line checklist under the "Student Shadow Visit" tab.  Usually the Parent Interview and student Shadow Visit take place on the same day.
