Coach Stewart’s Thoughts

On Hosting Cistercian Prepatory: "Cistercian is a traditionally tough, disciplined and well coached group of young men.  From closely observing their film in addition to the scores they have posted, this year's team consists of the same ingredients.  Coach (James) Burk and his staff do a great job of preparing their players as evidenced this season with their two losses coming by a total of 15 points.  This contest will be a good measure of our growth since the onset of conference play."

On The Team Progress Gained Thus Far
"We are beginning to execute at a much higher level than we did earlier in the season.  Though far from perfect, in all three phases of the game it would be difficult to find areas where we have not improved significantly.  While we have experienced tremendous progress this season, there is undoubtedly room for greater strides to be taken.  I fully expect to be in lock step with this current group of young men moving forward as we continue to meet our objective and build this program piece by piece."

Next Contest: Travels to Trinity Valley School on Friday, October 21 at 4 PM in Fort Worth

Notable: Following their third and final road trip next weekend, The Crusaders will have traveled a combined 1,299 miles this fall
