This folder includes the AP Calculus BC summer review packet along with its answers. The concepts covered in this packet will be evaluated during the first two weeks of school and will also be incorporated into assessments throughout the year.
Students will bring in this assignment on the first full day of AP Bio. They can use this completed packet on the first quiz of the semester, on the second or third full class day of the year.
Students are required to submit this work on the first full day of AP Chemistry. Students will be tested on this material approximately one week into the school year.
Students are expected to read, annotate, and take notes on Parts 1–4 of the book. These annotations and notes will be used during the first few weeks of school.
AP World History: Modern | Grade 10 Students will submit their notes and answers to questions by the first day of class.
AP United States History | Grade 11 Students will submit their completed summer assignment on the first day of class.
August 3:Class of 2025 Summer Sendoff The Class of 2025 are all invited to return to campus to gather as a class one last time, catch up with faculty, and pick up their yearbook! Email alumni@sasaustin.org with any questions!
August 4:Pre-Season Athletics Begin This includes Football, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Cheer, and Dance Team.

August 13:Fall Sports Parent Night Hear from the Athletic Staff, team coaches, and others about expectations for the year as we kick off the sports seasons.
August 18:Senior Breakfast The Class of 2026 kicks off the school year together at 8:30 am on the DFAC Lobby & Porch.
August 18:New Student Orientation All new students in grades 10, 11, & 12 will meet in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. to meet their advisor, review schedules, and make sure their technology is working. Contact Racheal Brooks for more information.
August 18: Ninth Grade Orientation The Class of 2029 will kick off the school year together at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel. They will spend the day with their Peer Mentors in various sessions to help prepare them for the school year. Contact Racheal Brooks for more information.
August 19:First Day of School School starts on Tuesday the 19th at 8:45 a.m. Students will gather with their advisory and process around campus before heading into Chapel.
Parents are welcome to participate in this procession, which is a great way to welcome the school community.
School ends at 4:00 on Tuesday. This is a semi-formal dress day, which will be discussed further at Orientation.

Parents will use the same Blackbaud ID to log into mySAS as they have in the past. If parents have a Gmail account on file, that can be used to log into mySAS as well.
Once logged into mySAS, click on Children tab, select your student's name, click Contact Card tab and edit fields using yellow pencil icon. Update emergency contact information for each child. Please list multiple contacts the school can reach out to in an emergency.
If you have any questions regarding your Blackbaud Tuition Management bill, please contact Susan Gordon (sgordon@sasaustin.org, 512-299-9807) in the Business Office. She will be your point of contact throughout the summer and next school year.
All students will be screened at the school during the first trimester of the new school year.Vision and hearing testing is required for the following students:
Kindergarten: vision and hearing
1st grade: vision and hearing
3rd grade: vision and hearing
5th grade: vision and hearing
7th grade: vision and hearing
Any new 2nd-12th grader: vision and hearing
Scoliosis testing will be done per Texas State requirements. Parents will be notified prior to screening.

Upper School Front Office During June and July, the Upper School front office will be open over the summer Monday - Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., with the exception of the following dates:
