Remembering Lucy Collins Nazro
It is with a very heavy heart that we announce that our long-time and beloved former Head of School, Lucy C. Nazro passed away on August 21, 2023. She served faithfully as St. Andrew's Head from 1980 to 2012, inspiring transformational growth and progress at our school.
A true trailblazer, Lucy’s legacy is defined by her talent, vision and devotion to and love for the Episcopal Church and Episcopal Schools. During her tenure at St. Andrew’s, she led the formation of our Middle School Program and the founding and development of our entire Upper School Campus. She strengthened and championed our Episcopal Identity, built bridges to the broader community and left a beautiful and indelible imprint on our school and multitudes of children and their families. A community-builder at heart, she modeled integrity, faith, connections, imagination, perseverance and fun and we are so grateful for the decades that she spent tirelessly advocating for St. Andrew's and all who walked through our doors.
