Kweder Tabbed Varsity Girls Volleyball Bench Boss

St. Andrew’s School Athletic Director Jeff McCrary has appointed longtime coach and professional beach volleyball tour player Zack Kweder to the position of Head Varsity Volleyball Coach/Program Coordinator.

The South Austin resident takes the reigns of the program after most recently serving as junior varsity head coach for the Highlanders.
“Coach Kweder has been a large part of the development levels of the Highlanders Volleyball program for the past five seasons,” McCrary said. “We are completely elated to have him now fully overseeing the entire program as we set our sights on another successful season from the varsity on down.”

When not on the gymnasium court, he can be found coaching on the beach courts as a coach of the 512 Beach Club.

On the playing circuit Zack has competed nationally in professional beach tours which include AVP, NVL, among others.

"I'm excited and honored to join the St. Andrew's volleyball family," Kweder said. "I'd like to thank the athletic staff for welcoming me in each season, and I look forward to continuing the high standards of success set by these student-athletes, both on and off the court."

Among his many volleyball certifications include USAV Impact, USVA SafeSport, and USAV Background Check.

Zack is married to his wife Kristin, and together they have three young children Kyan, Naomi, and Zydan.
