TALIA ALLISON APPOINTED HEAD CHEER COACH

Former varsity cheerleader at Stephen F. Austin State University (NCAA DI) Talia Allison has been named new St. Andrew's Cheer Program Coordinator.

Allison, who is a former cheerleader at nearby LBJ High School, has been cheering, and coaching for a number of years. She will head up the Saints/Highlanders squad.
"We are beyond excited to have Talia join our St. Andrew's athletic family," Athletic Director Jeff McCrary shared. "The cheer coaching position is incredibly important, as it a key cog in developing the spirit of both the Saints and Highlanders communities. We were excited by the vision of Coach Allison, her background in the sport, and plans to increase school spirit."

Prior to her arrival at St. Andrew's, she previously coached both cheer and dance to the Austin Ravens squad.

"I am so blessed and grateful to have the opportunity to be the new Head Cheer Coach for SAS," Allison said. "My goal is simple: to make this program the best it can be and cultivate school spirit."

The Killeen, TX resident begins her new post immediately.
