Matthew is presently in his first season of baseball at Case Western Reserve as a pitcher on the NCAA Division III team.

Matthew also doubles as an infielder, and is a civil engineering major.
At St. Andrew’s School
Was a four-year member of the Crusaders baseball team... Was coached by Steven Garcia... Named to the All-Conference and Austin Area Baseball Coaches Association All-Star teams, and was selected as his team's Most Valuable Player in 2016... Hit .323 with three home runs and 29 RBIs, while going 2-1 with a 3.25 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 41 innings... Also played basketball in high school...
