Kirby Elevated To Head Golf Coach/Program Coordinator

St. Andrew’s School proudly announces the elevation of the Rev. Whitney Kirby to the position of Head Varsity Golf Coach/Program Coordinator.

Kirby is a familiar face to St. Andrew's already, serving as the Upper School Chaplain. She played golf for years, competitively throughout her time in high school at Alamo Heights in San Antonio where she was recruited to play for NCAA Division III schools, and recreationally from her time at the University of Texas until today.
“Coach Kirby has already proven herself an asset to the St. Andrew’s School community in her role as Chaplain,” Athletic Director Jeff McCrary shared. “By leading our golf program, the student-athletes will experience her talents on a different level while on the links.”

The varsity squad is coming off a successful 2017 season in which the girls team placed seventh at the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) Championships.

"I am excited to join the US Golf team again this year in a new capacity," Kirby said. "We are looking forward to welcoming several new players, building on our success from last season, and having fun on the course."
