Playful Parents, Students at PE Open House

Our Lower School students had a blast showing off their fitness skills during the annual PE Open House (see photos here) last Friday, September 21. It was also a chance for parents to learn more about the PE curriculum, including the student fitness testing performed three times a year. PE teachers are using Seesaw software to upload fitness scores so parents can see their child’s progress with videos, pictures, and data. PE teacher Tom Costas said, “Our ultimate goal is for students to reach the Bronze medal (healthy range) in all areas of fitness.  We also emphasize that no matter what their fitness level is that they work hard to see improvement.”

If you missed the PE Open House, there are more PE events that parents are invited to attend this year!
